More practice determining whether ordered pairs are solutions-- created tables given domains and we figured out how to tell if a function is linear or not without graping

2 targets today:  sts can give ordered pairs to linear functions given certain criteria AND
                          sts can determine which ordered pairs are solutions

Today we did a warm-up, then a think/pair/share activity.  Then sts checked their understanding by completing worksheet E-77 (riddle).  We then took some notes on 5-3 and began assignment in class:

P. 275 # 9 - 11 T, # 13 - 21

No homework Tues or Wed because Sub will be here Wed.

QUIZ FRIDAY up to 5-4

Tues Nov 20th

Students did an In-Class assignment worth 10 points.
Students had to choose 1 problem from p. 767 (5-2) and create a poster representing the 4 different ways we represent a relation.  Then list the domain, range and inverse.
Due at end of hour.

We calculated our First Quarter Grades today.  Emptied out all first quarter papers from our binders.
We also did a Quiz Reflection for Quiz #1 from friday.  We then did a warmup reviewing 5-2 and did the following in class assignment.  If not done in class-- do for homework (Except 4th hour-no homework)
p. 267 # 18, 22, 25, 27, 32, 24, 37, 43, 44, 46-53

We did some practice, took some notes, did a practice quiz, then an in-class assignment.  If not done in class finish for homework

knowing how to name 3 solutions and 3 non- solutions-- and how to write the inequality
given a graph-- Do you know the difference between and AND and OR graph?????
